Inaugural Katy Cares Gala

Probably the hottest show in town, Katy Cares held its inaugural gala at Noah’s Event Venue on Sept. 30. Katy Cares organization provides restorative care for homeless women with children in the greater Katy area. The “Under the Big Top” vintage circus event included a cocktail hour with circus performers, monkeys, popcorn and champagne with cotton candy! Silent and Live auctions were also included along with an amazing performance by Piano Punch Dueling Pianos…what a great show!! Fundraising was very successful and will help provide program and facility needs, including their new structure, The Rachel Ballard House. This building will safely house mothers and children in the Katy Cares program as they receive educational and behavioral support coupled with positive encouragement to break the cycle of homelessness.

Katy Mom Joins The 4-0 Club!

Local resident Kelley Ferrer wanted to ring in her 40th birthday with two of her favorite things – dress-up fun and celebrating with family and close friends. She landed on a 1980’s rock-n’-roll theme and everyone was all-in. Check out these fun costumes!
