CRHS CHEERLEADERS DONATE TO METHODIST KATY HOSPITAL’S BREAST CARE CENTER

The Cinco Ranch High School Cheerleaders recently made a generous donation to Methodist Katy Hospital’s Breast Care Center. The girls made over 350 post-mastectomy “comfort pillows” and delivered them to some very grateful patients. The pillows are specially designed for the unique needs of women who have undergone a mastectomy or biopsy surgeries. The Breast Care Center will give them to patients over the next year.

The cheerleaders wanted to show their support for the fight against breast cancer because it is a difficult task, and they wanted to do their part to make it a little bit easier for the women in our community. The visit at Methodist Katy Hospital’s Breast Care Center was very educational for the cheerleaders.

The girls were given a tour of the Breast Cancer facility and learned the importance of monthly self-breast checks.
